We will be having a Division I girls basketball game at Wood Middle School today at 5pm. It is $2 for students and $3 for adults. 

There will be no div. II girls' basketball practice today, but we will still have practice Thursday. 

Boys basketball tryouts will be held today after school from 3:45 - 5:45 for 7th and 8th graders. All students trying out must turn in a Medical Release form to Ms Perkins before tryouts. If you did not attend the information meeting at lunch last week and have questions please see Ms. Perkins in Room 207. 

The Academy is partnering with Girls Inc. to offer a fun, interesting 12-week science enrichment class to learn about birds their habitats adaptations and more.This is a great opportunity for girls and the classes will be  held on Thursday's during tutorial starting this week. If you are interested, the sign up sheet is on the club board outside of the office. Limited spaces are available so be sure to sign up by today.

Today is Tuesday January  13, 2015

We will be having two girls basketball games here after school. Come support our Olympians as they play against Lincoln Middle School Lions. The Division II game starts at 4pm $2 for students and $3 for adults.

Are you interested in trying out for boys basketball? Tryouts will be held this Wednesday January 14 for 7th and 8th graders. If you did not attend the information meeting at lunch last week, but are planning to try out, please see Ms. Perkins in Room 207. All players trying out must have turned in a Medical Release form to Ms Perkins prior to the start of tryouts.

Ultimate Frisbee practice will be held at lunch.

Anime club will be held today at lunch in Room 223.

The Academy is partnering with Girls Inc. to offer a fun, interesting 12-week science enrichment class for 6th through 8th grade girls.

The 12-week enrichment class is centered on learning about birds. Students will learn about and then design bird habitats, learn about beak adaptations, dissect owl pellets, and more. This is a great opportunity for girls to further develop skills that they are learning in science as well as to spark their interest using an inquiry-based, hands on approach. 

The classes will be  held on Thursday's during tutorial starting this week. If you are interested, the sign up sheet will be outside the health office in the first quad. Limited spaces are available so be sure to sign up by Wednesday.
