The results are in for the October writing contest! The Writing Club would like to thank all of the participants; this was a tough decision. 

The results are as follows:

the Scariest Story goes to Cate Rosenbaum,

the Most Mysterious Story goes to Miranda Weber, and 

the Most Creative Story goes to Gratia O'Rafferty.

Prizes will be awarded during your English class today.

Also a HUGE thank you to all of the judges!

Please check the lost and found. Anything left after today will be collected and donated.

Congratulations to both the A and B volleyball teams for beating Lincoln yesterday. Both teams demonstrated great skill, intensity, and sportsmanship throughout the games and have secured spots in the playoffs. Come support the team in their final regular season games next week Wednesday at Wood and Thursday here at AoA, and then stay tuned for info about playoffs!  

If you are interested in signing up for intramural basketball sign ups are in the first quad. 

The lost and found will be cleaned out on Friday.  If you may have lost an item please check the lost and found by Friday.

We will be having a teacher vs student flag football game today at lunch! Congratulations to Team Ballerz for winning the championship!

Lockers and planters are not trash recycle or compost bins do not put your trash or food in those places. Please take them to the proper receptacles in the first  quad and cafeteria.

We will be having a B  team volleyball home game today after school against Junior Jets. The game starts at 4pm and is $2 for students and $3 for adults.

Writing Contest Participants:  Today is the last day to submit Scary-Suspense-Mystery stories to the October writing contest. Please submit entries to Ms. Famiano or the office. Winners will be announced next Friday.

We will be having a rematch flag football game during lunch today between Team Ballerz and Team Broncos. Players remember when the lunch bell rings grab your lunches quickly and report to blacktop by 12:50.If you are not sure what team your on please check the roster in the first quad at break. 

Writing Club members:  There is a mandatory meeting today during lunch in room 224 for any student who is attending the field trip Sunday. If anyone who has not signed up is interested and would like details, see Ms. Famiano at lunch as well.
