Students please make sure that your cell phones are off and put away.
It is now time for our dress code check. Students please remove your outer wear so that your teacher can check that you are in dress code.
Teachers please send down any students who are not in dress code.
There is still room in this Summer's GOLD program! We are doing Alladin Jr. Where you can act on stage OR you can help behind the scenes with costumes, lighting and set design! If theater is not your thing, you can join our STARS program which stands for Science, Technology, Arts, Recreation, and Sports! And don't forget, every Friday is a fun day or a field trip, including a trip to Six Flags! Grab an application in the main office or GOLD office today!
The Academy of Alameda will be hosting an 8 session volleyball clinic for student athletes of all levels. The goal of the sessions is to give students a jump start on the fall season, whether that be at the middle or high school level. We will be introducing fundamental volleyball skills for our new players while also giving our more experienced players the opportunity practice advanced skills. the clinics will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 17th to June 9th from 3:45pm to 5:30pm it is $20.00 per student for all 8 sessions
In order to participate, students cannot have any Fs on their progress report, and must not have excessive disciplinary concerns. There are 25 spots available. Permission slips can be found in the office.
